Alessandro Grandi, Full Professor of Economic-Management Engineering at the School of Engineering of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, where he held the position of President of the Degree Course in Management Engineering from 2007 to 2013. Prof. Grandi is also scientific director of the Master in Management of Bologna Business School, president of Almacube srl, member of the Board of Directors of the Centro Ceramico Consortium and of various spin-off companies of the University of Bologna. Since 2019 he has been president of the PNICube and Almacube Srl Association. His research activity and professional focus mainly concern the organization and management of technological innovation processes; policies, structures and services for the development of new businesses in the high-tech sectors; project management.

ORAZIO SCHILLACI - Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata"

Rector at the University of Rome Tor Vergata since 2019 and President of the Tor Vergata Polyclinic Foundation. At the University "La Sapienza" in 1990 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery, in 1994 he obtained the specialization in Nuclear Medicine. In 2000 he obtained the title of PhD at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Author of over 300 publications in extensive journals included in PubMed. Since 2017 he is President of AIMN; since 2020 he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the ISS and since 2021 he is a member of the "Renewal of the Technology Park" Working Group of the CSS

Ambassador of Italy to the Holy See and the Order of Malta. He was Director General of the Italian Development Cooperation, Ambassador to Spain, Permanent Representative to the United Nations Organizations in Italy, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Interparliamentary Union in Geneva and to the President of the Chamber in the 14th Legislature, Permanent Representative to the United Nations Unesco, Deputy Consul General in New York and Consul in Moscow. He is a member of the Board of Directors of SIOI, of Telefono Azzurro, of the Observatory for Education and International Cooperation of the Catholic University, of the Meyer Pediatric Hospital Foundation, of the Sorella Natura Foundation, of the Scientific Committee of the Guido Carli Foundation and of the Master MODSC of Tor Vergata. Author of books, essays and articles on historical, political and international cooperation topics.

ALON SIMHAYOFF - Israeli Embassy in Rome

Minister and Deputy Ambassador to the Israeli Embassy in Rome. Prior to taking this position, he served in 2019-2020 as a Political Advisor in the MFA Regional Security and Counter-Terrorism Department. In the years 2015-2018 he held the position of Head of the Foreign Policy Section for European Affairs at the National Security Council. Previously, he worked as a Desk Officer at the Bureau for Middle Eastern Economic Affairs and as a European Affairs Analyst at the Center for Policy Research. From 2008 to 2011 he was Political Secretary and Cultural Attaché at the Israeli Embassy in Warsaw, and subsequently worked at the MAE headquarters as a Desk Officer for bilateral relations with Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Austria.

ENRICO GIOVANNINI

Minister of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility, he is an Italian economist, statistician and academic. He was sworn in on February 13, 2021, in the Draghi government. He was chief statistician of the OECD from 2001 to August 2009, president of Istat from August 2009 to April 2013. From 28 April 2013 to 22 February 2014 he was Minister of Labor and Social Policy of the Letta government. He is full professor of economic statistics at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", professor of Public management at the Department of Political Sciences of the Luiss University and member of numerous boards of foundations and national and international organizations. From 3 February 2016 until 13 February 2021 he was the Spokesperson of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASViS).

GILBERTO PICHETTO FRATIN

Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economic Development. He graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Turin. Chartered accountant and professor of Accounting, he has always carried out professional activity as a business consultant in the corporate and tax branch, for businesses and professionals. He held public offices in municipal and regional administrations before and after being elected to the Senate of the Republic with the Popolo della Libertà and Forza Italia during the XVI legislature (2008-2013) and in the XVII Legislature. He has been secretary of the V Permanent Commission for Economic Planning, Budget, since 2010 Parent Company of the People of Freedom and member of the 11th Permanent Commission for Labor, Social Security, and of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the phenomenon of accidents at work. In the current Legislature he held the position of Parent Company in the Budget Commission of the Senate and with the birth of the Draghi government he was appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economic Development, a position he still holds today. During his mandate, on the basis of the powers assigned to him by Minister Giorgetti, Deputy Minister Pichetto is following numerous issues particularly related to the automotive sector, trade and industrial policies. The Deputy Minister worked hard to ensure that Parliament could approve the establishment of the "Italian research center for automotive and aerospace" as part of the “Sostegni bis” provision.

MARIA CRISTINA MESSA

Minister of University and Research since 13 February 2021, graduated in Medicine and Surgery with a specialty in Nuclear Medicine, she is full professor of Diagnostic by images.
From 2013 to 2019 she was rector of the University of Milano-Bicocca, first woman at the
guide of a Milanese university. Engaged in the enhancement of research and innovation as a strategic foundation of institutional activity, during her mandate she devoted particular attention to the relationships between universities and the territory at an international level.
From 2011 to 2015 she was vice president of the National Research Council (CNR). Its main objectives include carrying out research projects, promoting innovation and
competitiveness of the national industrial system, favoring the internationalization of the
Italian research, and to provide technologies and solutions to emerging needs in the public and private sector.

ALBERTO SILVANI

Policy analyst with scientific and professional experience in the field of research policy, innovation, evaluation and technology transfer, working in different locations, as a research manager at the CNR, or seconded to various universities and other institutions such as the Commission European. In addition to his scientific activity (he is the author and co-author of over a hundred publications including articles in journals, chapters and volumes) he has combined management responsibilities and consultancy.  He regularly collaborates with MET in the survey on business innovation and is a member of the Scientific Committee of CRANEC of UniCattolica.

ALBERTO TRIPI

Majority shareholder and Chairman of AlmavivA SpA - The Italian Innovation Company. Entrepreneur, graduated in Electronic Engineering from the La Sapienza University of Rome. He worked for IBM for 17 years, where he held important managerial roles in Italy and abroad. In 1983 he left IBM EMEA (based in Paris) where he held the role of Service Business Development Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East and founded COS / ISI Italsistemi per l'Informatica (now AlmavivA), an IT and telecommunications services company. . He has been present in the Confindustria system with representative positions since 1977, where he was President of Confindustria Innovative and Technological Services. He is Vice President of Unindustria with responsibility for Digital Transformation for the four-year period 2020-2024. He is part of the General Council of Confindustria and Confindustria Digitale, in Anitec-Assinform (ICT Association) he is part of the General Council for the four-year period 2021-2025 and is Head of ICT Studies and Strategies. Since February 2017 he has held the position of Confindustria Delegate for Cyber Security. He has been a director of IRI since 1997, for five years and until his liquidation. He was a member of the CNEL Council, participates in the Leonardo Committee (for the promotion of Made in Italy) and is a member of the Council for Relations between Italy and the United States. He is also a member and member of the General Council of ASPHI Onlus, a Foundation owned by organizations and companies that support the various activities for the integration of disabled people through the use of ICT technology.

ALESSANDRO BALBONI 

Head of the Innovation Business Development of the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and member of the Investment Committee of Neva Srg, a venture capital fund management company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. Graduated in Political Science with a specialization in Economics at the University of Bologna, he carried out his career within 3 Banking Groups, always dealing with the business segment and reaching the role of Corporate and Merchant Banking Manager and, subsequently, Chief Lending  Officer. He was board member of Mac Spa (which later became AIM Spa of Borsa Italiana), Palladio Leasing (Selmabipiemme Group - Mediobanca), Polis Fondi Sgr, Nordest Merchant Spa and Nem Sgr.

ALESSANDRO MECHELLI 

Director of the Department of Management and Law at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He covered his academic career at the University of Tuscia where he was first a researcher, then associate professor and finally full professor of Business Economics. In the academic field he has held numerous positions, including Director of Department, President of the Quality Presidium, Member of the Academic Sentato and Member of the Evaluation Unit at the University of Tuscia and Member of the Evaluation Unit and Department Director at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He is a chartered accountant and auditor, expert witness at the Civil Court of Rome.

Founder and Managing Partner of Terra Venture Partners, a leading venture fund focused on Israeli startups in sectors that have a positive impact on society such as Clean Energy, Digital Transformation and Healthcare. He sits on the board of directors of leading companies such as Intuition Robotics, Wi-Charge, Makalu, Sixgill. Before founding Terra, he was the principal of Israel Seed Partners, a major seed - stage venture capital in Israel with over $ 260 million under management. Prior to Israel Seed, he worked at McKinsey & Co., based in Paris, where he advised leading Italian, French and Israeli manufacturing and financial companies. He holds a PhD from Imperial College London and was a researcher at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris working on their nuclear fusion energy program. He is co-author of more than 25 scientific articles in prestigious journals, such as Nature and is fluent in Italian, English, French and Hebrew.

President of EIIS - European Institute for Innovation & Sustainability. One of the founders of the Italian Marketing Society. He is a member of the Order of Journalists and columnist of the Corriere della Sera - Rome.

COSMANO LOMBARDO

Founder & CEO Search On Media Group and Creator WMF - We Make Future - The largest Festival on Innovation. In 2007, together with Giorgio Taverniti and Andrea Pernici, he founded Search On Media Group, a business group that deals with training, consulting and open innovation, contributing to the training of over 3 million people and gathering a community of 300,000 innovators.  He is the creator of WMF - We Make Future, the largest Festival on Innovation, an International Fair which in the past edition recorded 24,000 visitors. He also holds the role of creator and operational director of appointments today a reference point for the digital sector (Social Media Strategies, Search Marketing Connect, Training Week, D4NP - Digital For Non Profit).  Since 2020, also in the face of the emergency context, it has developed initiatives aimed at enhancing the path of diffusion of innovation, launching the WMF Italian Roadshow and HUBitat, the network of 14 hubs along the national territory; and the WMF International Roadshow, a tour of 12 events abroad to contribute to the osmosis between Italian and international realities. He is President of the Digital Italy Association and member of the National Young Innovators Association.

EMILIANO SCHENA

Professor and Delegate of the Rector for the Third Mission at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Graduated in biomedical engineering with honors from the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. After completing his PhD, he spent numerous periods abroad at major universities in the USA, the Republic of Korea and Israel.  His research activity focuses on the design and development of wearable systems capable of monitoring physiological parameters for the optimization of the rehabilitation process, in sports and to prevent the risk of accidents.  He is the co-founder of the startup HEREMOS.

EMILIO FORTUNATO CAMPANA

Director of the Department of Engineering, ICT, Energy and Transport of the National Council of
Researches (CNR) of Italy. During his research activity (mainly in numerical fluid dynamics and project optimization) he was also a researcher at IBM - ECSEC (European Center for Scientific Informatics and Engineering), and director of the CNR-INSEAN institute (marine technology) . EFC was principal investigator of several EDA (European Defense Agency) and ONR (Office of Naval Research, US Navy) projects. In his scientific career he has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles in international journals and conferences (h-index 32) and has been awarded the American Bureau of Shipping (2009), the Scientific Achievement Award (2012) awarded by NATO, and was appointed George Weinblum Memorial Lecturer (2013-2014) awarded by the German Institut für Schiffbau of the University of Hamburg and the Naval Studies Board of the US National Research Council. He was (i) in the Executive Board of the Italian National Transport Cluster, (ii) scientific coordinator of the Italian National Cluster on Blue Growth, (iii) national representative in JPI Ocean.

Innovation Director of the Iren Group, one of the main and dynamic Italian multi-utility companies. He follows the innovation projects that impact all business areas of the Group and in 2018 he launched the IREN-Up Corporate Venture Capital project for direct investments in startups.  Prior to the current position he has held since 2015, he was Head of M&A and previously Head of Investor Relations.

ERNESTINA CIANCA

Associate Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" where he teaches "Digital Communications and Internet of Things Principles and Applications" and coordinates the II level Master in "Engineering and international law of space in satellite communication systems, navigation and sensing ". He is deputy director of the CTIF Interdepartmental Center and head of the International Network Liason Office. He worked as Assistant Professor at the University of Aalborg, Denmark (2000-2003). Today the main research areas are the use of radio-frequency signals (opportunistic signals such as WiFi signals or specifically designed) in the sensing field. He is a founding partner of an innovative start-up. He is the author of about 150 articles in international journals / transanctions and international conference proceedings.

CEO of BizPlace, the first Italian company that supports innovative entrepreneurs at the head of startups and SMEs in all financial transactions that involve them. BizPlace has followed over 400 startups in recent years with several million euros raised thanks to support and advisory. In addition, he is CEO of Alnus Capital Srl, an investment company that applies the principles of value investing by investing in companies with a strong competitive advantage and listed on the stock exchange with long-term time objectives.

FRANCESCO DE SANTIS

Milanese, born in 1956. He graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Milan in 1981. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Italfarmaco SpA, a family pharmaceutical company founded in 1938. He is currently Deputy Chairman of Confindustria for Research & amp; Development (2020-2024) and former Member of the Technical Research and Innovation Committee of Confindustria (2012-2019). He is a member of the Presidency Committee of Farmindustria and former Vice President of Farmindustria from 2011 to 2019. He is Vice President of the Control Committee of the Farmindustria Code of Ethics.

FRANCESCO FERRANTE

Full Professor of Political Economy at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. He holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Applied Economics (ESPA) from the University of York (UK). He has held various institutional positions, including that of pro-rector of Job placement and technology transfer. In 2006 he founded ImprendiLab, a university laboratory for the promotion of entrepreneurial culture. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the PNICube and of the scientific committee of AlmaLaurea and of the CER. His current research interests revolve around the themes of the economics of education, entrepreneurship and the labor market, with particular reference to the role of entrepreneurship of university students.

FRANCESCO SCAFARTO

Researcher in Management and professor of "Business creation and entrepreneurship" at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He carries out mentoring and support activities for academic and student startups for the purposes of the Start Cup Lazio collaborative network. He is currently the local coordinator for the "Innovation & Entrepreneurship" activities relating to various international projects of the YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) partnership in close collaboration with the technology transfer offices of the University of "Tor Vergata".

GIANMARCO CARNOVALE

President of the Roma Startup association which gathers the enablers - incubators, investors,
universities, business schools, professionals - of the Roman territory active in supporting ed
investment in startups; member of the Scientific Committee of the AgriFood-Tech Italia association; member of the Economic Development Council of Roma Capitale; he is President and CEO of SCUTER, a startup that develops an urban mobility service based on an innovative proprietary electric vehicle. Entrepreneur, technologist, ecosystem architect, facilitator of connections, columnist, speaker, policy advocate, political advisor and innovation consultant, one of the pioneers of innovation on the Roman scene since the late 90s. A scholar of enterprise methodologies on a venture-backed model, of open innovation and exponential organizations, of construction of ecosystems, he was the founder of several technological companies in the fields of software, new media, consumer electronics, mobile, telecommunications equipment; in the years between 1998 and 2010 he was responsible for the strategies in an investment holding and company builder, and after 2010 he participated in the creation and management of various accelerators, contributing to the construction of the Italian venture business chain and the startup ecosystem. . He actively promotes the economy of innovation as a popularizer and speaker at conferences, adjunct professor, consultant for innovation for political subjects, columnist for sector newspapers, and writer of legal texts and territorial strategies on the subject of business and innovation.

He is co-founder of Next (network of 42 organizations for social and environmental sustainability) and Gioosto (online platform for responsible consumption). Author of about 520 works including scientific publications, working papers and numerous popular volumes including "Bergoglionomics" (Minimum Fax), "Neurosceptics" Rizzoli (February 2019), "The market are us" (Bruno Mondadori) "Wiki economy" Il Mulino . He is among the promoters of the School of Civil Economy. He is currently president of the Ethics Committee of Etica sgr.

Since 2018 he has been President of InfoCamere and Regional Director of CNA Lazio (National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises - Association of the Lazio Region). He holds numerous other positions, such as: President of the Board of Founding Members of the Cinema per Roma Foundation, Vice President of the Territory Council for Central Italy of Unicredit, Member of the Executive Committee of National Unioncamere, Member of the Board of Directors of Universitas Mercatorum and Member of the Board of Directors of Isnart. LUIGI CAMPITELLI

Director of the “Active Space and Open Innovation” business unit of Lazio Innova, the Lazio Region agency focused on innovation, finance and local development. From 2011 to 2013 he was General Manager of the Pa.L.Mer., Technology Park of Southern Lazio.  From 1997 to 2011 he was General Manager of the BIC (Business Innovation Center) Lazio, Regional Network of Business Incubators.  He chaired both the European Association of BICs and the Association of Italian BICs (BIC Italia).  Evaluator of business projects and investment programs, he is also a consultant for local and central government on European planning and internationalization. Author and speaker of numerous articles and essays on startups and business development.

MARCELLA MALLEN 

President of ASviS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development and of Prioritalia, Foundation of the managers' organizations Cida and Manageritalia. Graduated in law, former president of Manageritalia Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Sardinia and Umbria and of CFMT. Professor of Diversity Management at the Lumsa University of Rome, member of the steering committee of Value @ Work of the Institute of Higher Studies on Women of the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical University. Among the publications: "Effect D. If leadership is female: special stories of normal women" (F. Angeli, 2011), Saadi's daughter (Polaris, 2016), Diversity management. MARCO GIRARDO

Journalist. After studying Philosophy in Trieste and Communications Sciences at the Cattolica in Milan, he began collaborating with various national economic and financial newspapers. In 1998 he joined the Economics editorial office of the daily Avvenire, of which he became responsible in 2011. Since 2021 he has been responsible for the Civil Economy of Avvenire for which he oversaw the multimedia publishing project. Since 2008 he has hosted the popular broadcast “News in progress: the economy”, of which he is the author, on the InBlu radio network.

MARIA CRISTINA FINUCCI

Architect and artist. In 2013 at UNESCO he founded the Garbage Patch State, the State of the plastic islands in the oceans to raise the environmental issue connected to them. He has made monumental installations in various places around the world. In 2018, as Head of State, he signed the UN Agenda 2030 resolution on sustainable development. He has received many awards and his work has been exhibited in museums. In February 2019 she was awarded the decoration of Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Maurizio Sobrero

MAURIZIO SOBRERO

Full Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Bologna and Associate Dean for New Faculty at the Bologna Business School. He deals with issues of entrepreneurship, research policies and innovation management, on which he has published five books and numerous articles in the main international journals. He has held various positions on these issues for Italian and European institutions. In 2001 he was one of the founders of the Start Cup, the Business Plan Competition of the University of Bologna, of the Almacube incubator and promoted the birth of the first edition of what has now become the National Innovation Award.

MICHELA MARI

Associate Professor of Economics and Business Management at the Department of Management and Law of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Among the institutional roles covered at the same Department, she is - since April 2019 - Deputy Coordinator of the Master in Economics and Real Estate Management (MEGIM). She is also, since 2018, Deputy Coordinator of the Departmental Center "Scientific Observatory on Women's Enterprises - OSIF" and member of the Teaching Body of the Research Doctorate in Management. Her research activity is mainly focused on the issues of female entrepreneurship and real estate management.

MICHELANGELO SIMONELLI

Senior Government Affairs Director Gilead Sciences Italia. Graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the La Sapienza University of Rome and a Masters in Pharmacognosy at the Noble Pharmaceutical College of Rome. He has held roles of increasing responsibility, nationally and internationally, in several leading multinational companies in the pharmaceutical sector in the areas of Marketing and Sales.  

NICOLA TASCO 

President of LAZIO INNOVA SPA, an innovation and development company of the Lazio Region. He deals with corporate taxation, the taxation of extraordinary transactions as well as mutual investment funds. It also provides assistance in relation to corporate law issues in the context of the ordinary and extraordinary business of companies and groups of transnational companies. For INTESA SANPAOLO he worked in New York assisting Italian companies operating in the United States of America. He therefore dealt with the preparation of contracts relating to bank financing transactions as well as structured finance transactions. He is a member of the Governing Body of the CTNA (National Aerospace Technology Cluster), of the Steering Committee of ANFIR (National Association of Regional Finance), of the Tax Law Project of the Rome Bar Association, of the Board of Directors of the National and International Chamber of the Rome Bar Association. He was coordinator of the Scientific Committee of the Observatory on Conflicts and Conciliation. He is the author of the book: “Fisco, the betrayed love” - EPC Editore, 2015.

NICOLA ZINGARETTI

President of the Lazio Region since 12 March 2013, where he was re-elected in 2018, a unique case in the history of this institution. He was Secretary of the Democratic Party from 17 March 2019 to 5 March 2021. From 2008 to 2012 he held the position of President of the Province of Rome. In 2007 he was the first secretary of the Pd of Lazio. From 2004 to 2008 he was European Parliamentary. In Europe he has been involved in consumer protection, volunteering, disability and civil rights. In 2007, it approved a directive that imposes criminal penalties for counterfeiters who import illegal and dangerous goods from non-EU countries. For this commitment, he received the nomination for the MEP Award, the prestigious recognition that is given every year to the most deserving MEPs. From 1995 to 1997 he was president of the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY) and Vice President of the Socialist International, starting an intense international activity that led him, in 1999, to Burma to support the "movement for democracy" . The same year he organized the Dalai Lama's trip to Rome. In 1991 he was elected National Secretary of the Youth Left and the following year as Municipal Councilor of Rome. In those years he was committed to sustainable development and in defense of the environment, legality and against the mafia. In 1982, at the age of 17, he took part in the peace movement, and was one of the founders of the anti-racist voluntary association “Nero e non solo”.

PAOLA PANICCIA

Full Professor of Economics and Business Management at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". In the same University he also holds the following roles: Director of the Interdepartmental Research Center for TeleInFrastructures - CTIF, Director of the Master in "Economics and Management of Tourism and Cultural Activities", Director of the Master in "Management of Organizations and Social Doctrine of the Church" She is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the PNICube and Coordinator of the Start Cup Lazio - Regional Business Plan Competition Author and co-author of over a hundred publications including articles in journals, chapters and volumes, published nationally and internationally.

PAOLO ORNELI

Born in Rome in 1969, graduated in Economics and Commerce from La Sapienza University. Councilor and then President of the XIII District of Rome between 1997 and 2001. Municipal Councilor of Rome and delegate of the Mayor for the Coast from 2001 to 2006. President of the XIII Municipality from 2006 to 2008. Official at the Presidency of the Province of Rome from 2008 to 2012. From 2013 to 2018, head of the secretariat of the Regional Department for Economic Development and Productive Activities. From June 2018 to November 2019, president of the Lazio Innova regional in-house company. Since 2019 he has held the role of Councilor for Economic Development, Commerce and Crafts, University, Research, Start-Up and Innovation of the Lazio Region.

PIERLUIGI MONCERI

Born in Varese, 58, graduated in economics and commerce from the Catholic University of Milan in 1986. From the same year he joined the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, covering various positions of responsibility in the commercial field over time, then continuing his career professional within the management structures of the Banca dei Territori Division. Between 2012 and 2014 he was general manager of Banca di Credito Sardo, an investee company of the Group. Since November 2014 he has held the role of Head of one of the Regional Departments of the bank (between 2014 and 2016 he was also general manager of the subsidiary Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze), currently located in that which includes the territories of Lazio and Abruzzo. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the SRM-Studies and Research Society for Southern Italy and, since the beginning of 2021, he has been appointed President of the ABI Lazio regional commission.

RAFFAELE TRAPASSO

Senior Economist at the OECD Center for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities; coordinates the work of the Organization on entrepreneurial training and entrepreneurial skills, with a specific focus on universities and higher education systems. Before joining the OECD, he worked with national and local governments to promote regional development. He obtained the title of PhD in Political Economy at the State University of the Sacred Heart of Piacenza and he graduated in Economics and Commerce from the Federico II University of Naples.

RICCARDO LUNA

Journalist passionate about innovation. Founder of Campus, Il Romanista and Wired, for fifteen years in Repubblica, he founded and directed the online magazines Chefuturo! and StartupItalia !, edited the first four European Maker Faire, wrote the best seller "Cambiamo tutto!" (The third). He was Digital Champion from September 2014 to September 2016. From 1 October 2016 to 30 June 2019 he directed the AGI and every day at 13.57 is on RDS for 100 seconds. From 24 May 2021 he has directed Italian Tech, the technology magazine of the GEDI group, and from 1 November also Green and Blue, the sustainability magazine of the same group. For Rai he made a TV series on digital in Italy to be released on December 3.

RICCARDO SAVORITI

President of the Young Entrepreneurs Group for the three-year period 2021-2024. He graduated from classical high school at the Liceo Tulliano in Arpino. In Rome, he graduated in Economics of Financial and Insurance Intermediaries, in Business Economics. After a first experience in the business consulting sector, he joined the family business, Sama Marketing e Produzione Srl, active in the waste sector. Specialized in administration and management control, and today he also follows commercial activities abroad, constantly comparing myself with international markets. It has been part of the Youth Group since 2007: when, even before the merger on a regional basis, the Association was limited to the province of Frosinone. After many years of a profound and participatory associationism, closely experiencing the birth of Unindustria, from 2018 to 2021 he held his first position in the regional GGI Board of Directors, with the role of Vice President.

ROBERTO GUALTIERI

Mayor of Rome. Graduated in Literature and Philosophy at Sapienza, after a doctorate in history
Economics becomes Associate Professor of Contemporary History, again at Sapienza. He has written books and essays on Italian and international political and economic history and on European integration and has collaborated with various newspapers and magazines. In 2009 he became an MEP and, among other posts, was part of the Brexit negotiating team and chairs the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. In September 2019 he was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance in the Conte II government. In this role, he is strongly committed to mitigating the economic and social impact of the very serious health and economic emergency following the pandemic by supporting workers, families and businesses and by leading the negotiations in Europe together with the government that led to the adoption of a robust counter-cyclical response to the crisis and the launch of the Next Generation Eu program. The passion that binds him to his city and the desire to relaunch its European and international role and make it a simpler, closer and more liveable metropolis for all Romans, pushed him to put his experience and energy at the service of Rome.

SARA POGGESI

Associate Professor of Economics and Business Management at the Department of Management and Law of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", where he holds three-year and specialist management and marketing courses. She is currently coordinator of the departmental research center "Scientific Observatory of Women's Enterprises - OSIF" and her main line of research is on female entrepreneurship. She specifically deals with the strategies and performance of women's businesses in Italy.

Researcher in Economics and Business Management at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". She is the referent of the Operational Committee of the Start Cup Lazio - Regional Business Plan Competition and expert for training and coaching activities for research teams and young people (students, graduates, doctoral students) competing for the drafting of business plans. He is project manager of the Master in Management of Organizations and Social Doctrine of the Church. His research activity is mainly focused on the issues of technology transfer, startups, spinoffs and the management of companies and tourist destinations.

SMADAR SHAPIRA

Israeli diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, acting as head of diplomacy
public at the Embassy of Israel in Rome. Prior to his current position, he served as Deputy Head of Israel's Embassy Mission in Thailand and Cambodia. She was also Senior Policy Advisor for EU affairs and bilateral relations at the Israel Mission to the European Union and NATO, based in Brussels. Before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked at the Peres Center for Peace, an NGO founded by the late 9th President of Israel and Noble Peace Prize Lauriat, Mr. Shimon Peres. In addition, she held various senior positions and was the representative of the Peres Center for Peace in Europe, director of the department of Economics and Commerce and Project Manager. He holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy (Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

VINCENZO ANTONETTI

Head of Network Development of Innovation @Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center. Graduated with full marks in Economics and Commerce from the University of Turin, he also obtained a Master in Banking & Finance from SDA Bocconi. With a solid banking experience, he began his adventure at the Innovation Center in 2014. In the past he held various roles in the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, from the Commercial Network to the Pricing Service, from Strategic Marketing to the Market Research function. Head of Network Development of the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, he has the task of overseeing the innovation ecosystems, generating new business opportunities for the Group both on the national and international market, facilitating the meeting between demand and offer of innovation between Corporate and Startup .

VINCENZO TAGLIAFERRI

Vice Rector for Technology Transfer of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and Director of the Engineering Department of the “Mario Lucertini” Company. He is Full Professor of Technologies and Processing Systems and author of over two hundred and sixty papers, in international journals, on the themes of innovative technologies and materials and of twelve patents. He is responsible for more than seventy contracts with national and multinational companies on the issues of exploiting research results in the fields of innovative technologies and unconventional materials.
